Black Haven Arts and Culture Inc. is a (c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization that emerged from the collective vision of a close circle of artists and creatives who recognized the need for resource equity, art inclusion, wealth redistribution, and community accountability, and understood the power of arts and culture to address social problems through artistic expression.
Established in 2019, Black Haven was founded on the philosophy that art is the core of community wellness and well-being. Its platform was envisioned as a space that celebrates the voices and expressions of artists to inspire resilience in society in the face of challenges.
Today, we are growing as an organization and offer a diversity of programs to further our mission of empowering artists and amplifying their voices to inspire resilience and affect social transformation toward a more equitable and compassionate society through the unifying force of arts and culture.
